Pixie – Taipei Vinyl Toy Store

pixie outlet with PAW Running Sushi Bar….

Pixie has two stores in Taipei one MainStore and one Outletstore in an large Bookstore near the Taipei 101. This time we talk about that one which is in the bookstore. As i was there just a view days after the Taipei Toy Festival 2009 it looked very Coarse – I saw there very nice custom works with coarsetoys which i have never seen before, like a whole running sushi bar of different styled PAW’s – and as well some very very cool Customs on Noop Dude furthermore i found some Ajee (Bonustoyz), MIST (Bonustoyz) and Toyqube and so on- Concerning the different Coarse Styles I think we may can expect there more of this nice things in the future as miniseries or Keychains. The pixie outlet there is very nice. Looks like they have a view things which you only can get in Asia so if someone seen something in our flicker stream we can go ther e Again and check it for you. The Store noramly is oben between 11 am to 22/23. All in all a nice designed Shop, all things easy to find and not a caos as like in some other stores in Taipei.

TOY2R Shop at Megabox – Hongkong Vinyl Toy Store

Hong Kong the heart of Vinyl Toys. As we all know they invented the trend like more than less 10 years ago. I had the Chance to visit the toy2r store in Kowloon Bay in Hongkong. The Shop is based in a Shoppingcenter which is called Megabox, a interesting big big Shoppingcenter like one of the 500 in this city,hehe. Okay when u enter the Shoppingcenter you see there some Displays along the escalators where famous Designer are exhibit there work for toy2r. Comming up to the 3level brings you to there store and u are in QeeHeaven and as well a very big Qee awaits you. I was looking around and can not get my finger from some of there DIY Qees so i have had to buy 5 of them. I realy enjoyed the visit there and hope you enjoy the Video.

Taipei Toy Festival Countdown & Taipei Vinyl Toy Store

There are 2 days until the Taipei Toy Festival 2009 and as we are already in Taipei we covered a little bit our expressions about the Vinyl Toy Scen. There are plenty of shops around the town. On of our first exploring trip was to Underground Shopping Mall at Taipei Main Station(Taipei has the world biggest Undergroundshoppingmall, someone said) where is as well an Hot Dog Toyz Outlet. In this Mall you find a lot of Toyshops having all the latest things from Japan.

One of the mainspots we visited beside the mall was Monster Taipei which is the organisator of the Taipei Toy Festival. They have had some nice Designer Toys and so we where forced to shop. We are already counting hours to the Taipei Toy Festival as you… so enoy our first expressions from Taipei.

Transformers VS Gundam Second Round- Gundam Base Taipei

Today i was walking around in Taipei and as i stay at the moment near the Taipei Railway Main Station i explored this part and found an exciting Spot. Opposit the Taipai Main Station there is the KMall where you can find a lot of electronics and as well the “Gundam Base Taipei”. the Gundam Base Tapei is a kind of museum and shop for Gundam lovers. It looks like that this museum displays every single gundam which was ever made and you can as well purchase there hundrets of them.

We recently have seen this very very Big Gundam in Japan but this Store has as well 3 human lifesize Gundams on display at the entrance and 100 or maybe 1000 of Gundams. Enjoy the Video we made there, we will try to get better materials the comming days as well.

HOT TOYS LTD, a Hong Kong based production house, established in 2000. Devotes efforts in designing, developing, manufacturing highly detailed with actual likeness toy merchandise to worldwide markets. Initially from producing 1/6 military special force gear set to specializing in 1/6 scale action figure as a focus.

PRODUCTS

HOT TOYS is not only focusing on 1/6 series military action figure series, but also extended the product scope to work with HKG figure designers, including Brothersworker and ERIC SO to produce unique crossover featured collectable toys.

Product diversification is another highlight of HOT TOYS. Emerging from highly detailed and articulated 12″ action figure, HOT TOYS also engaged in different sizes action figure in 4″ 8″ 12″, and different product forms including Snap Fit Model, Plush and Vinyl products.

From 2003, HOT TOYS has also worked with several well-know properties. They had the official merchandising rights in producing toys from worldwide movies (Alien VS. Predator, Robocop, Aliens, and The Terminator etc) as well as famous Asian comic characters (Tezuka Osamu characters: Astro Boy, Black Jack, and Princess Knight etc).
