Tell me something about you?
I’m a freelance illustrator and have been for 4 years now. In March I got into customizing vinyl and absolutely love it. I’m 26 and live in Newcastle, UK and I’m of the female variety. I love all things cute, kitsch and pretty which probably reflects in my work and spend my spare time (when I ever have any) at the gym, doodling in my sketchbook or with my lovely friends I also have a mild addiction to Twitter, Hello Kitty and milky way magic stars.

What is your favourit DIY Toy?
Has to be the mini munny, great size and an awesome figure to paint, the form really brings the characters i create to life. I also like the diversity of the Baby Qees very sweet to paint!

Where you get your inspiration from?
My imagination, my sketchbook doodles, things I’ve dreamt, memories, things i see in day to day life I’m also inspired by the fabulous customizers out there and hope to be as successful one day

Since when are you doing Vinyl toys?
I started customizing in March and things have really snowballed since then with great blog coverage and fantastic support from the urban art community. I was encouraged by a great friend of mine to give it a go and i’m so glad i did.

How large is your privat Vinyl toy Collection?
I have a very small collection which includes many series 3 Dunnies (this is the vinyl that caught my eye and got me intersted in the whole scene) some Treeson, Tokidoki and Peskimo pieces and a Cris Rose Rotund Grandfather edition. I also love Blythe dolls and have 2 lovely girls which i am hoping to add to soon. I feel my collection gradually expanding as i see more and more stuff I want!

What will be your next Project?
I am currently working on 3 different show pieces and a rather special commission which is a really unusual awesome figure. For the forseeable future i will be working on commissions as I have had a lot of requests, so when I can squeeze the next toy in for sale it will be a custom Nathan Jurevicius Naal as a follow up to the Arksi I did a few weeks ago as aell as a few Dunnies.
